Tuesday,   16 – Great Canon of St. Andrew at 6 pm 
 

Wednesday,   17 – Lenten hours at 9 am, confession at 9:40 am, Presanc. Liturgy at 10 am 
 

Friday,   19 – Akathist to the Theotokos at 6 pm 
 

Saturday,   20 – Vigil / confession at 6 pm 
 

Sunday,  21 – Sunday of Orthodoxy. Divine Liturgy. Inter Orthodox vespers in our church at 5 pm. Homilist Fr. Chad Hatfield. 
 

Wednesday,  24 – Lenten hours at 5 pm, confession at 5:40 pm; Presanc. Liturgy at 6 pm. Adult discussion group to follow/potluck  
 

Saturday,   27 – Fr. Aleksandar will be in Des Moines, IA, no vigil / confession 
 

Sunday,   28 – Confession at 9:15 am, Divine Liturgy. Inter Orthodox vespers at 5 pm at Annunciation church. 
 

Wednesday, March 3 – Lenten hours at 9 am, confession at 9:40 am; Presanc. Liturgy at 10 am. 
 

Saturday,   6 – Vigil / confession at 6 pm 
 

Sunday,    7 – Divine Liturgy. Inter Orthodox vespers at 5 pm at St Dionysios church. 
 

Wednesday,   10 – Lenten hours at 5 pm, confession at 5:40 pm; Presanc. Liturgy at 6 pm. Adult discussion group to follow / potluck  
 

Saturday,   13 – Fr. Aleksandar will be in Des Moines, IA, no vigil / confession 
 

Sunday,   14 – Confession at 9:15 am, Divine Liturgy. St. Nikolai of Zica, the first slava of our choir.Blessing of kolac & koljivo and posno luncheon in the hall. Inter Orthodox vespers at 5 pm at St Basil church in KCK. 
 

Wednesday,   17 – Lenten hours at 9 am, confession at 9:40 am; Presanc. Liturgy / Vespers for St. Nikolai of Zica at 10 am.

Saturday,   27 – Lazarus Saturday – Vrbica. Confession at 9:15 am. Divinne Liturgy. Vespers and procession at 4 pm. Confession to follow. 
 

Beginning of Holy Week 
 

Every Thursday during Great Lent from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. there will be an adult religious class with various topics. If you have any special questions, or anything you would like to know more about, please inform Fr. Aleksandar.  
 
Religious discussions will be every other Wednesday evening right after the Presanctified Liturgy at around 7 p.m. This year we will also try to have a potluck. Please bring a dish to share.    
 
The annual diocesan meeting will be March 19-20 at Holy Mother of GodMonastery at New Gracanica in Grayslake, IL. Unfortunately, we will not have the Akathist to the Most Holy Theotokos on the fifth Friday of Lent which is March 19. Please try to attend one of the area Orthodox churches instead.
