Circle of Serbian Sisters of St. Petka

First organized in 1924, we currently have around 80 members in the Kolo. By graciously donating their time, energy and talents to the betterment of our community, these dedicated Serbian ladies are the back bone of Orthodox Church life in Kansas City.

The Mission of the Kolo consists of supporting the ministry of St. George Church, our Church School , the Youth Group and all other church organizations which work for the benefit of the Holy Orthodox Faith.

The Kolo sponsors our annual Serbian Food Festival & Bazaar held the weekend before Thanksgiving each fall. They also host several fund raising dinners through out the year. Additionally the Kolo helps the new arrivals from the old country with most everything immigrant families need.
