His Eminence Metropolitan Christopher and his Grace Bishop Dr. Mitrophan conducted the consecration together with parish priest Fr. Aleksandar Bugarin and the visiting clergy V. Rev. Petar Milosevich, dean of St. Louis Deanery from St. Louis; two local Greek Orthodox priest, Fr’s. Nick Papedo and Jim Katinas; four OCA priests, Fr’s Gregory Dye, Timothy Sawchak, Chris Rowe and Michael Medis; and four Serbian Orthodox priests and one protodeacon,  Fr’s. Milorad Orlich from Loraine, OH, Dejan Tiosavljevic from Houston, TX, Sasa Petrovic from Omaha, NE, Paisius Altschul from Kansas City, MO and protodeacon Dr. Stanimir Spasovic from Libertyville, IL.

After the washing and preparing the Holy Altar table for the consecration, the Metropolitan placed the holy relics of St. Lazar of Kosovo into it and sealed it. The consecration service also included a procession around the new church and the reading of a proclamation which was sealed into the cornerstone of the building. The Metropolitan anointed the church and blessed it, and the first Liturgy was served in the church.
